Ben Schlager

Ben Schlager, a 1998 graduate of NYU School of Law, has served as Counsel to several telecommunications and financial services companies ranging from publicly traded entities to start-up ventures in the U.S. and in emerging markets. Ben continues to broaden his expertise to include anti-terror law, international sanctions monitoring and anti-money laundering law in the investigation and litigation of cases involving the intersection of financial crime and broader criminal activity.

Prior to transitioning to in-house practice, Ben worked as a litigator at several regional firms specializing in insurance defense coverage, construction litigation, subrogation claims, and land-use litigation. Ben also has substantial experience in HIPAA compliance and associated regulatory issues related to healthcare, telehealth and data privacy. Ben is a graduate of Yeshiva University and, upon graduating, deferred entry to law school for a year to attend Ner Israel Rabbinical Academy in Pikesville, Maryland. He is married with 4 children and enjoys kayaking, rafting, skiing and reading a broad range of religious and secular literature.
