Force v Palestinian Authority
This week, a group of American victims of Palestinian terrorism, including the family of West Point graduate and U.S. Army veteran Taylor Force, filed a federal lawsuit in Manhattan exposing the Palestinian Authority’s (PA) and Palestine Liberation Organization’s (PLO) ongoing “Pay for Slay” program and demanding accountability under U.S. law.
The lawsuit comes just weeks after several countries formally recognized a Palestinian state—purportedly conditioned on governance reforms and a commitment to combat incitement and violent extremism. It comes as the world debates the Trump plan for Middle East peace, which envisions a possible future governance role for the PA based on those same assurances of sincere rehabilitation. Plaintiffs allege that those promises are hollow.
