Mayor Mamdani,
This letter is written to place your office on notice that a public demonstration is planned for this evening in New York City outside of a Jewish day school, Yeshiva of Central Queens, and a synagogue, Agudath Israel of Kew Gardens Hills. Based on prior similar events, this presents a foreseeable risk of intimidation and public-safety violations directed at Jewish individuals and institutions. We respectfully urge the City to ensure neutral, even-handed enforcement of existing New York law, including statutes prohibiting masked intimidation and disorderly conduct, so that lawful protest does not devolve into unlawful coercion or targeted fear...
